North Charleston, SC, (January 1, 2009) – In accordance with a tradition started January, 2 2008 by Diane Cameron of the Christian Science Monitor IntrovertCentral.com wants to wish you a Happy Introvert Day. The second day of January was not picked at random. It was picked because it was the first day after the holiday season starting with Christmas and running through New Year’s Day. This time of year is great for extraverts with its many social gatherings. However, this is no break for introverts if anything introverts are working overtime living in a state of perpetual dread of the next family dinner or office party. So today is the first day in a while introverts can come out of hiding or answer the phone without pretending to be under the weather. So celebrate your day by finding a place that is nice and quite so that you can be alone just like you like it. You owe it to yourself seeing that every single other day is extravert day. |
